Death 1: Overshooting the Platform
Cause: Holding the jump too long. Fix: Release the hold earlier. Aim to land on the front third of the platform, not sail past it. Practice tap-length control on easy gaps.
Death 2: Falling Short
Cause: Jumping without enough speed, or tapping instead of holding. Fix: Build momentum before the gap and use a hold-jump for anything wide. Never jump from a standstill across a large gap.
Death 3: Crashing Into Walls
Cause: Swiping too early on a wall-run. Fix: Wait until you're almost touching the wall before swiping up. Full approach speed also helps the run register.
Death 4: Losing the Rhythm on Moving Platforms
Cause: Jumping at the wrong point in the platform's cycle. Fix: Watch one full cycle, then jump as the platform reaches its nearest point to you.
Death 5: Panic Jumping After a Bad Landing
Cause: Immediately jumping after landing without speed. Fix: Take a grounded step to rebuild momentum, then jump. A one-beat pause beats a doomed leap.
Death 6: Not Reading Ahead
Cause: Reacting to obstacles instead of anticipating them. Fix: Keep your eyes ahead of your character, not on it. Plan two moves in advance.
