Levels 21-40 in Candy Blast Saga mark the game's first real difficulty wall. Move counts drop, double-layer jelly appears more often, and chocolate blockers start spreading. This walkthrough gives you the move priorities and combo setups to clear every board — and 3-star most of them.

What Changes at Level 21
Three new pressures show up in this range:
- Tighter move budgets — you can no longer afford random matches.
- Spreading chocolate — one uncleared chocolate tile multiplies each turn.
- Double-layer jelly — needs two hits to fully clear.
The core principle for the whole range: stop chocolate first, then work jelly, then chase points.
Levels 21-28: Containing Chocolate
Chocolate spreads to an adjacent empty-ish tile every turn you don't touch it. Your first two or three moves each board should clip the chocolate edge to freeze its growth.
- Identify the chocolate cluster before your first move.
- Match directly against its border every turn until it stops growing.
- Only then pivot to jelly clearing.
A Striped Candy fired through the chocolate line clears a whole row of it at once — the single most efficient anti-chocolate play.
Levels 29-34: Double-Layer Jelly
Double jelly is where most players lose stars. Wrapped Candies are your best tool because their two-stage explosion hits each tile twice.
- Build a Wrapped Candy near the densest jelly cluster.
- Detonate it in the center so both blast waves overlap the jelly.
- Combine Wrapped + Striped for a giant cross that double-hits an entire band.
Levels 35-40: Move-Limited Puzzles
By level 38 you'll face boards with as few as 18 moves. The winning rhythm:
- Spend the first 4-5 moves building two special candies.
- Combine them for a board-wide clear (Color Bomb + Striped is ideal).
- Use remaining moves for surgical jelly cleanup, not new specials.
