Merge Kingdom events are where free players earn the biggest rewards β but only with preparation. This guide covers how to ready your board before an event and chain-merge event items for top-tier rewards.

Prepare Before the Event Starts
The players who top event leaderboards win before the event even begins:
- Clear your board. Store or finish existing merges so you have open space.
- Stockpile energy by not spending it in the days before.
- Bank energy-item chains so you can burst-produce during the event.
During the Event
Event items usually come from a special spawner. Your job is to convert them into high-tier event rewards as fast as possible:
- Feed the event spawner while you have space.
- Merge event items in threes to save space and earn bonuses.
- Don't let the event board fill β keep merging as you spawn.
Pace Your Energy
Events reward sustained output, not one big burst. Spend energy steadily so you're producing throughout the whole event window rather than dumping it all in the first hour.
Target the Right Reward Tier
Top leaderboard spots often demand spending. Identify the highest free reward tier and aim there. The rewards above it rarely justify the cost for a free player.
