Fun challenge: Finish one play session with one empty row still visible on the board.

Overview

Levels 21-30 are less about waiting and more about editing. Higher-tier requests arrive while event pieces, old quest items, and active generators compete for the same board space. The player who succeeds is not always the one with the rarest item; it is the one who keeps a usable workbench.

Aim for controlled progress: finish current quests, reserve space for events, and upgrade the generator that removes repeated bottlenecks.

27-28Generator cooldowns block questsUpgrade the most repeated bottleneck

Levels 21-23: Reserve a Merge Lane

Higher-tier chains need room to breathe. Keep one lane for pieces that are about to merge and move decorative or uncertain items away from it. A board full of possible pieces is not productive if no chain can be completed.

When a quest asks for a higher tier, work backward from the final item. Count the missing pieces, then tap only generators that feed that chain. Random tapping fills the lane before the ingredients arrive.

Levels 24-26: Contain Event Pieces

Events can quietly consume the board. Put event pieces in one corner or border strip and leave a buffer cell between them and normal quest work. That buffer prevents one accidental spawn from sealing the workspace.

If the event does not help an active quest, do not open every reward immediately. Reward pieces are useful only when you have a plan for them. An unopened stash is better than a jammed board.

Levels 27-28: Upgrade the Repeated Bottleneck

Before spending coins, track which generator stops progress more than once. The right upgrade shortens a recurring wait, increases a useful drop, or supports several quest lines. A generator that appears in only one request can usually wait.

Do not upgrade simply because a chain feels slow. Ask whether the bottleneck is energy, storage, drop chance, or cooldown. Buying the wrong speed upgrade only creates clutter faster.

Levels 29-30: Batch Quests Around Overlap

Late quests are easier when completed in groups. Before tapping, look for requests that use the same source chain. Finish several related turns in one session instead of clearing the board after every small task.

A practical order is: active quest item, next-tier backup piece, coin-producing item, event item, uncertain storage piece. When space gets tight, delete or sell from the bottom of that priority list.

Ten-Minute Board Reset

  1. Move all active quest pieces to the merge lane.
  2. Group matching pieces and complete the safest merges.
  3. Put event items into one contained corner.
  4. Move idle generators away from the center.
  5. Sell or store pieces that support no current objective.
  6. Leave at least one empty row and two buffer cells.

Quick Tips Recap

  • Keep one row or lane reserved for actual merging, not storage.
  • Contain event pieces in a corner and do not open every reward at once.
  • Upgrade generators that repeatedly block quests, not generators that merely look rare.
  • Batch requests that share the same source chain.
  • Sell uncertain items before sacrificing active quest space.
  • Permanent storage and energy progress beat convenience purchases.
